We don't list sites whose permits have expired or that don't take the public.

Before you go: checklist

  • Bring your driver's license and vehicle registration (proof of county residency).
  • Howard: buy the $40 trailer permit before your first visit.
  • Check the closing time; most scales stop taking loads 15–30 minutes early.
  • Keep hazardous waste, tires, paint and batteries out of the load.
  • Tarp the load before you drive.
  • Keep the scale ticket; text us a photo if you used Return It Loaded.

Or skip the landfill: Return It Loaded

Bring the trailer back full and we take it to the scale for the county price plus $49. It's the fix for Saturday-afternoon jobs, since every landfill is closed Sunday.
